Adrian Chiles was born in
Birmingham in 1967.
Chiles was educated at Haybridge High School in Worcestershire, Westfield College, London and NCTJ in Cardiff.
Adrian Chiles started at the BBC as a researcher, in 1992.
From 1993, Adrian Chiles presented Radio 4's Financial World Tonight. In
1994 he started presenting Wake Up To Money on Radio Five Live.
Adrian Chiles has presented several shows on 5 Live including a midweek version of football phone-in, 606; and Chiles On Saturday.
Chiles's TV work included hosting the business programme Working Lunch on BBC2 and presenting Match Of The Day 2 on BBC2 on Sunday.
Chiles also hosted You're Fired, which is transmitted just after The Apprentice.
In April 2010 it was revealed that Adrian Chiles was leaving the BBC and joining ITV and GMTV, where he would become the main host on the breakfast station and host ITV's football coverage.
