Sean Lock presents TV Heaven, Telly Hell on Channel 4 and is a regular on Eight Out of Ten Cats, also on Channel 4.
Sean Lock grew up in Woking, Surrey.
He went to the Drama Centre in London to study acting, but decided to go back to working on building sites.
However, having seen an alternative cabaret in Hackney, Sean Lock was inspired to go into stand-up comedy.
Sean Lock wrote and acted in two series of 15 Storeys High, but became most popular for his appearances on TV panel shows like 8 out of 10 cats and QI.
Lock lives in London with his girlfriend and two daughters.
As well as his TV work, Sean Lock still performs live stand-up comedy.
In September 2007 he began his Sean Lock's Spot the Difference tour.
