Nigel Havers, the son of the former Lord Chancellor, Sir Michael Havers has had an extensive acting career.
His TV credits include starring as Dr Jonathan Paige in Dangerfield and as Dr Tom Latimer in Don't Wait Up.
Nigel Havers's wife Polly, the sister of Simon Williams, died in June 2004.
He lives with Georgina Bronfman, a former au pair and also former wife of one of America's richest men.
In 2009 Nigel Havers was cast as Peter Dalton in The Sarah Jane Adventures.
