Profile Theo Paphitis's family moved to England from Cyprus when he was six.

Theo Paphitis left school at 16 and became a tea boy at Lloyd's of London before setting up a property finance business when he was 23.

Theo Paphitis's business interests have included Ryman, Contessa and Millwall FC.

Paphitis is on the panel of Dragons' Den.

Paphitis tends to specialise in trying to turn around struggling companies.

One of his successes was buying lingerie company La Senza for a nominal sum (reportedly 'a quid and 40 Benson & Hedges')and selling it for £100m.

In 2008, Theo Paphitis wrote the autobiographical, Enter the Dragon.

In 2010, Theo Paphitis was appointed to present a BBC Two series The Buying Game as well as hosting Theo's Adventure Capitalists - also on BBC Two.
