Jon Ronson is a writer, columnist and documentary film maker.
He grew up in Cardiff and then studied journalism at the Polytechnic of Central London.
He wrote a regular column in Time Out and his first venture into TV was The Ronson Mission.
A few years later he fronted Tottenham Ayatollah directed by Saul Dibb, which followed Omar Bakri Mohammed for a year.
Numerous documentaries followed with Jon Ronson following and questioning unorthodox people.
In 2009 Jon Ronson hosted on Channel 4, Revelations: How to Find God, in which eight agnostics go on an Alpha Course.
