Brian Wilde played the pompous Walter 'Foggy' Dewhurst in Last of the Summer Wine.
Brian Wilde first joined Last of the Summer Wine in 1976 and left in 1985 but returned in 1990.
Brian Wilde is also famous for playing the soft prison officer Mr Barrowclough in the sitcom Porridge.
Brian Wilde died in 2008 aged 86.
